Pune Bangalore Akasa airlines Boeing 737 MAX flight takes of from Pune. It is newest airline in Indian aviation. It is expanding rapidly.
A low-cost airline operating out of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Akasa Air is a brand of SNV Aviation Private Limited. Vinay Dube and Aditya Ghosh started the airline, and investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala currently has a 46% share in it.
After obtaining its first Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, the airline launched its commercial operations on August 7, 2022, with its maiden flight service between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.Vinay Dube, the CEO of Akasa Air, indicated that the company's objective is to add 12-14 aircraft year and have 18 aircraft by the end of 2022. Additionally, he stated that in five years, Akasa Air's fleet size should be around 72 aircraft. In the beginning, the airline will provide services from metro areas to tier-2 and tier-3 cities in addition to running flights to important cities all over India, according to Dube.The airline now operates 19 aircraft, serving 16 destinations, and has placed an order for 56 more, with intentions to add one more.
