I'm glad to see the IDF do what it needs to do to protect its citizens from Hezbollah. It seems to me that at least since the beginning in 1948, Israel's enemies have miscalculated in their attacks, and one of the consequences of this was losing territory.

Clearly the U.N. Is powerless to stop the issues in this region. The only solution is to establish a DMZ or demilitarized zone. There’s a good model between North/South Korea. The cultures are very different but that model could be a basis for one between Lebanon/Israel.

Since the UN troops are only there to get paid without enforcement of resolution 1700 I recommend the IDF Stay there if that will help keep your citizens safe
