Oppression (influenceed/tempted) and Possession (ownership/control) are two different aspects of demonic activity, however both are very real and need Jesus help to be dealt with

They can put strongholds on your life through sin. Even for believers. Some can be anxiety, depression, sickness, etc. God never created these things. Demons don’t always take possession, but can place these things into your life. You can free yourself from them by repentance and closing these doors of sin that are open.

Christian, born again and who took water baptism can never have a demon because of the indwelling of Holy Spirit. Demons can bring thoughts, but can never possess a Christian. Deliverance ministry is good for non believers. Truth will set us free that the same power which raised Christ, Jesus from dead, dwells in us and in front of that No Demon can stand. ❤
