It is truly sad. I think the church can do something really useful in this regard. I think youth groups for boys and youth groups for girls (because needs differ) are important. Governments and social services are corrupt and make the problem worse. It is down to the local parish priest with a heart for Christ, following in the footsteps of St. Francis.

Rev, I'd love to hear your thoughts on how we tackle this, especially in the light of campaigns like Peter Tatchell, who are seeking to decriminalised paedophilia, and have it categorised as a sexual preference, as well as their fighting for "children's right to sexual intimacy" ? Serious question.
