I think part of it is also that the brain uses 20% of the blood supply. In cold conditions your body cuts circulation to hands and feet but not your brain. And since the head has very little fat it doesn't insulate well. In combination with increased blood flow it will lose more heat. The false aspect is that it loses the most heat. Comparatively it loses a higher amount

Always hesrd that and "keep your feet warm abd your bodystays warm" still good rules to abide by but in cold clinates covering tour body is the best way to be sure to stay toasty😂
