AutoSum is the most common function in Excel. With AutoSum, you can sum up several cells in an area at the touch of a button without having to write complicated formulas.
All you need to do is to click on AutoSum and Excel automatically enters a formula (that uses the SUM function) to sum the numbers.
In this short video, you will learn how AutoSumma works.
To sum a column, select the cell immediately below the last value in the column.
Click the AutoSum button on either the Home or Formulas tab.
Press the Enter key to complete the formula
Now, you can see the calculated total in the cell, and the SUM formula in the formula bar.
Instead of pressing the AutoSum button, You can use the Shortcut Alt plus Equal Sign
Pressing Equal Sign key while holding the Alt key inserts a Sum formula

If you are a native speaker of any of these languages: I would appreciate if you could check the quality of the translation and give me som feedback in the comments. That would help my future efforts to produce multilingual content
