The Mehndipur Balaji temple follows a unique tradition. Besides the deity Balaji Maharaj (Lord Hanuman), the temple also houses idols of Shri Pretraj Sarkar and Shri Kotwal Captain "Bhairavji." Pretraj Sarkar presides here as the chief magistrate, while "Bhairavji" is present as the temple's constable.
