I'm pretty sure there was a 5months gap between ep 3 and 7, but also, they were in a meeting and Alastor left immediately after, he waited for the egg outside so they didn't have a chance to talk properly

I was thinking about the same thing. This definitely looks like a plot hole. Or Rosie just meant that Alastor not being in Cannibal Town for a while. They met at the meeting in Episode 3, but he only went to Cannibal Town in Episode 7. And if these aren't the thing, maybe Rosie has like a condition we doesn't know about. I can't wait to see if they will explain this "plot hole" in one of the later seasons.

The time frame from episode 3 - 7 is about 6 months because the extermination was 6 months after that episode. And the day they go to Rosie was the day before. Just because there’s 8 episodes doesn’t mean it’s like a week. It’s been 6 months since they’ve seen each other
