I do love my Deity BladeRunner Pedals but have failed and replacing the bearings with the rebuild kit of the left or the right. Both times I've ended up throwing on a Deity Compound pedal from a different bike and taking the pedals back to the bike shop - in my case Dirty River Bicycle works.

I swear I thought that next step after taking a pedal from another bike was throw it in the trash 🗑...LOL...but taking it to the bike shop & letting them deal with it is a better idea.

I had the same issue with my Spank pedals 😡 impossible to rebuild without a special bearing extractor tool.

I get light $35 polymers. I regrease five or so times and then buy a new set. I get over 10k miles out of them or more. Cheap & easy. Pedals too.

Must be a nice pedal, for that money you would think they would last

Have the same pedals and the same issue. They look nice but are a bit fragile for enduro. You can buy a new pair of composites for the same money as a rebuild kit/bikeshop labour. Hard to recommend the bladerunners.
