Miss old SSO so much!š It was just such a different game back then. They paid more attention to the lore of the game and the connection with the old games. At the moment it just feels like the team doesn't know what their doing and don't seem to have a clue what the story is about. I miss all the aspects of the game that used to be so important: the old background music, old graphics, old characters (both npc's and player character's), less bug issues compared to now, the challenge in game and the questing (your horse dying for real and being sent to your home stable to take care of it and not being able to do much), there used to be so many challenges such as time quests with little time to complete something or else you have to start over, old soulrider training you couldn't complete in a short time and made you earn to continue the main story, dayblockers that made you force to stop and wait a day to continue playing the quest so you can get some rest and let's you have patience, having to ride certain parts with your horse to reach a trailer because the trailers used to be seperate and only transport you within a certain zone (Silverglade, Golden Hills valley, Harvest Counties/Epona). Not being able to go fast in the Valley of the hidden Dinosaur unless you had the right horse. Another good thing about old SSO was the dialogues in older quests. They actually made sense and weren't so corny. And the dark theme and scaryness behind older questlines were a lot more fun then the light funny boring kids theme they have now. Overall the vibe and gameplay was much better and interesting back then. I also still wanna know what happens next in forgotten side questlines. Like Nick Stoneground's expeditions through the Valley of the hidden Dinosaur (we still haven't visited Ashland on his expeditions nor the Ice witch's cave). The Kallters leaving Dinovalley and Avalon's vision about Valedale (it seems like they planned to continue this questline in 2019 and update Dinovalley but then scrapped it because a new management came in that year). The fight between Chill and G.E.D over Epona and the Harvest Counties (Will we ever find out what their doing in Old Hill Crest?). More area's within Jorvik city to visit? And more questlines? They pretty much abondoned this area along with Dino valley after releasing them. SSO truly seems to have forgotten these things in the game and don't seem to have a clear direction about what to do next. I miss the old days..
