I learnt as a kid by riding up hill so you don't run out of revs while you're learning to use the back break because using the back break to control your wheelies isn't going to happen overnight & finding your balance point is the most important part which going up hill helps you figure out.

first lesson before gettin your wheel up is have your foot ready on the rear brake in case you give it to much sauce, wheelies is alternateing throttle and rear brake feathering
