To be clear here, it was an airburst at the limit of the warhead's kill radius. But this does suggest an error in targeting. Perhaps the size (radar cross section) and (lack of) speed of the UAV put it outside the ideal engagement parameters envisioned by the SAM's engineers.

If it was a missile , it was one with a small warhead and it didn’t directly impact the drone, it proximity detonated , as many MANPADS are designed to do.
It could also be a 30 or 37MM AAA round as well

Do you guys know that if it was an AA system it would shoot a second one if the first one didn’t take it down. So there is two options to this. One, it was shot down with the second shot but the Ukrainians cut that part of the video. Two, the Russians used a manpad but didn’t have a second one, therefore drone kept flying. But what’s weird to me is there are no smoke trails from the missile so I’m confused.

That was not a direct hit and probably not even a missile. If this is a small hand-launched drone, that explosion was from a 20-40 mm cannon round.
