In May last year Adam Savage made a video analysing this model before it went it auction. It was originally a lightweight pyrotechnics model of Red Leader's x-wing but in the explosion sequence, it wasn't destroyed and then was re-painted with 3 wing stripes and some extra paintwork added and re-used as Biggs' pyro fighter, but a detailed explosion of Biggs' fighter was never shot
