Only reason it's topping steam sales chart atm is probably cause there are no other games releasing atm that have gotten much attention.
Dragonage Veilguard top concurrent players atm is around 70k.
Black Myth: Wukong which the wokies hated had 2.4 million concurrent players at it's peak.
