Fascinating, deeply relevant to my life. I was born in Nepal, but my father wanted the modern, corporate life so he moved my mother and I to America and later Canada. That snippet of the old Windows 95 computers booting up is my childhood memory from my days in America. But I never wanted to spend all day in front of that computer, I found it depressing even as a kid. I wanted somebody to foster my love of nature, which never happened. My love of nature is not something I inherited from my parents. I am at a point where I'm seeking to connect with likeminded people, and I'd love to have a conversation with the speakers in this video one day.

Thank you so much for opening western eyes, ears and intentions. This was an amazing pulling together of the strands that interweave our global community or lack there of!
I am deeply struck by how much we have to learn and unlearn before a new system in which we survive the upcoming climate crisis can evolve. I am a boarding school survivor and am just now learning how to uproot my internalized “empire”, despite never having really believed in it!

Do you know where it tickles the most ? where it is touched the least. So the talks above astonish us, mesmerise us and provide a new parlance of human thinking and thus are food for thought. I watched this movie when it was released and it changed my life completely. I came out of the rat race of consumerism, closed all my businesses overseas and came back from Sydney to a remote civilisation on India-China border and started living a life to achieve "self-sustenance" based on an ancient culture. I have been living a life without market deep inside the forest to experiment myself about sustenance based on nature.
But when I see these noble people (all of the actors of this movie) charging money on their websites for delivering a talk on indigenous cultures and living themselves with all the modern facilities of globalised economies and having houses in the most modern cities in the world and pretending to be the messiah of ancient cultures. I find no hope for the humanity and this earth in the future.
Governments have inculcated an education system to uproot the ancient civilisations and make people run after the money and then you have nice noble Popes talking against that system just to fulfil their greed by collecting money to live the luxurious lives in developed nations. Wonderful it is ....

Localisation & veganism can solve most of the global crisis! Eastern wisdom is the ultimate solution to all human-created problems and beyond. Western knowledge is good for quick solution and technofixing in emergencies but not for long-run. We must keep exploring our inner self and make a progressive ethics and knowledge for all and for the future generations. Planet is dying! Time is running out..

This took me like 10 -15 minutes to get into it...mostly bc I have no patience to sit still for a 1 hour video these days so I was being highly critical, like this is maybe gonna be some video with a bunch of strong, unsubstantiated claims...nope, this was the most valuable video I've seen in 2022. Well done, smart, fair and true. Thank you for making this.
