For everyone saying "i don't see him as black" or "I don't see color" first off no one is colorblind to pretend to be colorblind is only contributing to the overall issue. There is nothing wrong with seeing David goggins as someone you respect and happens to also be a black man, to deny a mans culture is to deny his history his personal challenges and his journey it is disrespectful. David goggins is a black man and should be acknowledged as such, he is also so much more.

My brother is a green beret and we’re half black but we’re pretty light. I forgot what training he was in but the instructor realized he was black when his hair started to grow out and curl up. Ever since then that instructor made that training bell for him. He said he was getting smoked multiple times a day for no reason. Still made it though
