I feel the same way. But mostly because I was raised to believe "If you're doing nothing, you're doing something wrong." So I physically can not relax if I see other people doing things. Even something like making dinner. My first thought is always "What should I be doing to help?" Even though they literally never asked or even hinted at needing or wanting my help.

The way I deal with this mindset is by thinking "Well, if someone starting cleaning my house WRONG I would be way more annoyed with them than if they sat down and did nothing".

The workaround would be to have her take notes of the movie. settled with her other emotions she may feel for certain scenes. And give an easy of her enjoyment/investment with the overall experience. While providing snacks or other things to keep her mind busy. You know i have the same issue but opposite i think 🤔

Ellie...Ellie...Ellie...You are so precious and so so so silly, xd. Then again, here I am getting invited to birthday parties or so but end up eating beforehand or pack my own lunch just cause I think it'd be too much for little old me to partake at said events.
Still have't really grown out of that habit of mine. Short of packing lunch for others as well, for better or worse.

I can't believe how Ellie has proven me wrong.
As someone with autism and etc. i have several times thought about streaming, but have always come to the conclusion that i wouldn't be interesting enough. And here Ellie is, telling what i feel like could have been my life story, and people enjoy it. And all i can say is, keep it going Ellie, you are making people like me, proud that someone is daring to take that step.
