#thane - The Historical Place हि #documentary बनवण्याचा उद्देश फक्त ठाण्याचा इतिहास हा लोकांपर्यत पोहचवण्याचा आहे. ठाण्यावर अनेक इतिहास संशोधकांनी अभ्यास करून ठाण्यावर अनेक पुस्तक लिहिली आहेत. पण काळानुसार माध्यमे बदलत असतात. सध्या ऑनलाईनच्या जगात लोकांनी पुस्तक वाचनाकडे फार दुर्लक्ष केले आहे. म्हणूनच हि माहिती या व्हिडीओ च्या माध्यमातून लोकांपर्यंत पोहचवण्याचा एक पर्यंत आहे.

जेव्हा मला समजलं कि ठाणे शरहाला ऐतिहासिक वारसा लाभलेला आहे तेव्हा त्या विषयी जाणून घेण्याची माझी उत्सुकता आणखीन वाढली. म्हणून मी त्याविषयावर वाचन सुरु केले. ठाणे हे तलावाचे शहर म्हणून ओळखले जाते हे जवळपास प्रत्येकाला माहित आहे. पण ठाण्याविषयी बऱ्याचऐतिहासिक गोष्टी आहेत ज्या फार कोणाला माहित नाहीत.
