I was going to come to the comment section and say that is why I don't waste money on snap on power tools but then I realized that everyone else has already made that point clear.

As you'll see in the comments, Milwaukee is Numero Uno when it comes to power tools.
Look up Project Farm and you'll see it's performed in the top three in every category.

Me over here with my 5 year old harbor freight I warranty every year because I can and it breaks every bolt I've thrown at it lol

Join the 22nd century and buy a damn Milwaukee. Less expensive, lighter weight, more compact, more powerful, more efficient. Plus if you need another battery, you can drive to the damn store and buy one. Superior in every way. Only a fool would buy a snap on electric impact at this point.

So some people ask why techs have expensive tools. Itā€™s because that tool has been used and abused for years try that with your Ryobi. Also the tool still have value just doesnā€™t pack the same punch as it once did.

A milwaukee gun will last a good while and has a way longer warranty. Most of the time you can warranty one right at home depot.

Milwaukee/Makita/Dewalt. trust the holy trinity.

We use them every day on our crew and let me tell you them Amish guys abuse the hell out of them. Good ass professional quality.

Snap on has really taken a hit with it's reputation. To me at this point it's only hand tools. As far as power tools I'm rolling with Milwaukee, DeWalt, and Makita.

Check the trigger position on the old gun. It looks like it's set for "screw" which makes no sense since you want to UNscrew that bolt.

I switched to Milwaukee and havenā€™t looked back. With my 3/8 fuel stubby I rarely have to pick up my big half inch i havenā€™t had an issue once especially with the bigger battery and this thing gets abused
