As a fan, Bad News Brown was honestly a scary wrestler to me. The way he talked, his attitude, the eyes, you nane it, he just radiated, "I'm going to lay you six feet under." Such a GREAT heel.
You have to have really good heels in order to advance any story. Brown was one of them, and he was so much fun.

Not sure when this was recorded, but I think so many like Allen and Booker T taking up for Hogan even after Hogan's comments that briefly took him out of the Hall of Fame shows that the people who really liked Hogan really liked him. That, and they knew working with him would draw money even if they had to put him over every night.

I love bad news brown. I loved when his feude with hogan, I taped a Saturday night main event with himin the 80s, and the tape got destroyed by a tape player in the early 90s. It's weird that nobody uploaded that match on you tube. I would love to see that match and so would the world. I remember in that match when bad news brown went to get this huge snow shovel and come back to the ring and attempt to attack hogan with it. It was extremely exciting.

I saw them two at Madison Square Garden heβs right. You couldnβt hear yourself think thatβs how loud of a pop Hogan would get. Funniest one was. It was Hogan and Savage at the Garden one time. And Hogan is celebrating with the fans. He blew through four curtain calls. Vince coming out of gorilla yelling. The house lights coming on! When he finally realizes that he needs to go when the house is damn near empty! πππ

He competed in the Olympics in Judo from what I remember. It's too bad he didn't compete at the same era as Del Rio who was supposed to be part of Mexico's team. It might have made for an interesting match.

I saw Bad News Brown vs Hulk Hogan at Brown County Arena in Green Bay in 1988. Still the best house show I ever went to.
