This drain outside dumps its water into the sump pump inside the house. This sump pump was not working at the time of inspection. The water that was making its way into the crock pit was being absorbed by the other drain pipes leading into the pit. If the full amount of water that could be dumped into the crock pit was dumped into the crock pit, it would surely flood the basement. This is a major flood hazard. I pointed this out in the inspection report and the buyer was very thankful. The seller acknowledged that was true but failed to tell anyone about it prior to the inspection.
