Just thought I would share another part of Star's 💫 continued training.
Most people just plop the food down & let them eat.
However as you may have guessed I'm NOT 🚫 most people!😆
We practice with her food currently & she's getting quite good at it
Once we have mastered her breakfast & dinner we will move on to treats & toys.
I do wish she was making more progress in the behavioral department though.
Although she's made HUGE strides with hubby coming home from work with all his stuff in his hands.
She no longer barks, backs up, or growls & is genuinely happy 😊💖 to see him.
We will see how she does with my vet next Wednesday.
The lesions they removed from the roof of her mouth are MUCH larger now & although the other vet was very good with her I want my own trusted vets opinion.
We also need to discuss a more potent firm of relaxation/sedation.
I have a physical coming up which means she will have to be kenneled for about 4 hours.
Sadly the Trazadone does not seem to cut it at ALL!
Gave her 2 tabs when a friend visited from TX & had ZERO effect on her.
Sadly she was not able to meet this person as she is afraid of dogs.
You NEVER want to mix a scared human & a scared dog.
NOT 🚫 a good idea 💡 & not good for dog or human.
