We live aboard our 42’ sailboat and are about to become a sailing family of THREE. We sold everything we owned, bought a sailboat in Hawaii, and gave up traditional living for a life of cruising. Tired of the monotony of the rat race, we hated constantly trying to work everyday to afford a picket fence house that we were never in because we would be at work. We desperately desired a life less ordinary.
We wanted the Pacific Ocean as our backyard and to give our future kiddos an adventurous childhood to remember….where mom and dad are always around and life at sea is just as sweet.
We are working to grow our youtube channel and it may take a hot minute to get off the ground, but we are determined to be ourselves and pursue our dreams!

After spending 6 days in Galveston bay through storms every single day, 12ft waves on anchor my wind generator breaking off, my sails developing tears, and my anchor chain nearly degloving the skin off my hand, I’m back at the same marina I started at. It was fun for the first 4 days. After that, I wanted off that ride and I was crying. Singlehanding a 30ft boat in 25-45kts of wind, and everything going wrong and breaking again and again and again… I made a very simple but very painful mistake and it nearly cost me my life. Trying to adjust the topping lift on anchor I didn’t account for the swell, and the boom smacked me on the head and knocked me out cold.
I’m lucky to be alive. Ended up at the hospital after coming back with SEAtow and USCG assistance
