Jeff Ostroff shows 3 new very well-produced Titan Sub implosion simulations to determine if the passengers in the Oceangate Ttian Sub felt anything when the sub implosion occurred. He also answers Q&A about topics such as the alleged cracked Titan porthole, which is the 21" Acrylic viewport window, which many photos online appear to show cracks in the plexiglass.

They probably heard some horrible noises before.

The wreckage showed that it didn't collapse in the middle. There was a seal that broke at the front of the sub, which caused it to collapse towards the back

They also reported hearing "cracking" noises on this vessel's previous dive. The company did nothing to find out why.

This whole titangate thing is fascinating as its unlocked a new kind of fear i didnt know i had.

The thought of being in that sub and knowing whats going to happen is so disturbing 💀

I heard it’s very likely they knew it was going to implode roughly one minute before the implosion occurred.

They would have been squirted out the end like a tube of toothpaste.

How long it takes to see is irrelevant. The occupants already knew they were doomed from hearing the cracking noises and that they were not in control of their buoyancy. They must’ve been absolutely terrified, screaming, praying, maybe accepting for a few minutes.

Human sauce action happened before they had time to register what was happening - what a way to go.

I read where the crew of the "Thresher" knew 4 1\2 minutes before.

So a millisecond where where the body is flash boiled like cavitation bubble collapse, the carbon fiber collapsing and splintering in to millions of fletches, slicing them by a thousand cuts, then the titanium end caps squashing in to themselves as it pushes the human Insta pot contents in to one of the end caps.
Certainly painless on a human perspective, but gruesome all the way through.

I am sure they heard horrible noises and malfunctions and tried to ascend back up !! All those cracking sounds was getting worst and then they imploded. There was a leak somewhere I am sure of it

They probably would have seen the light inside go off, but had no time to even flinch or think. So lights off and then—

Reminds me of the scene in Das Boot when the crew realizes their boat is out of control and plummeting to the bottom of the Strait of Gibraltar. Of course, NOT the same outcome as Titan but the same fear, panic that inevitable doom is seconds away!

Basic problem is a cylindrical passenger compartment. Give me a titanium Ball anytime!

I would love to experience this, does anyone know when Oceangate will resume normal operations?

Just pray they didn't suffer...

Just based on the size of Titan and the number of people inside, there would have been people seated thru out the sub. So, the guys at either end would have had several milliseconds to see there shipmates getting crushed. Yuck, this whole thing just gets worse the more we find out.

They didn't feel or see a thing. They were gone as soon as the pressure equalized. Which was instant. The time it took for the sub to implode doesn't mean that's how long they lived.

If they used titanium, instead of carbon fiber, what thickness are we talking about 3” ?
