… I’ve still got it, but boyyyyy I’m feelin’ all the muscles I haven’t used in 16+ years since I stopped cheerleading.
First “adult tumbling” class in the books down in Mississippi and I had so much fun. From handstands to front handsprings and even some back tuck progressions, it started coming back pretty quickly. No running tumbling yet—I’ve got a race this Saturday that I need to be fresh for 😅. I was dying to try a round-off back tuck, but my achilles, wrists and shoulders just weren’t quite there with me in motivation. Maybe next time I’ll be brave enough to throw some tucks from the ground without the squishy mat to land on!
