Love my Labrador, sweetest soul ever, and so adventurous. One and only downside is the shedding!! Out of control in summer even with twice daily brushing. Still wouldn't put me off having another though, they're totally worth it.❤

Reasons why you shouldn’t get a Labrador.
1. They are too cute and you will never want to stop petting them.
2. It is torture when you can’t pet the guide or service dogs that are Labradors.
3. They are so affectionate, and smart, they can happily remember where Starbucks(or a different place) is, or learn new things.

In our experience, they tend to shed a lot. I think some breeds are worse, though.

I have 3 lol one as a support dog, then her 2 sisters we took on when the breeder could care for them any longer, so got a white/golden, black and chocolate. They all completely different in there behaviour and their personalities. Wouldn’t have thought by so much different tbh.

I have my first Labrador. I love him but if I had known ahead of time about his requirements, I would not have chosen him. We live in the suburbs with a decent sized yard but he would be so much happier on a much larger property. He loves to run. He is his happiest at the beach and dog parks where he can run full speed for long distance.

We got our first Labrador 3 years ago and she is just an absolute gem of a dog. She’s so sweet and sensitive and knows what we’re saying. She is a big girl at 105 pounds. She was 7 pounds heavier than the average puppy at 2 months old. She loves to play with kids and likes to be with us everywhere we go, even if it’s just from one room to the next.

And I must add that when the time comes and I need a new support dog, will probably be another lab, but a different colour maybe as another similar to Lilly may be too much .

😂😂 The major reason I didn't get another Lab (my previous one passed away in 2016) is because I don't have the health and energy to keep up with a Lab's need

Got my 5 month black lab, Hank. He is the joy of my life. At his age he’s doing brilliant and picks up commands quick.. always flops on my lap for comfort 👍
