I wish they were more Open Source Friendly, and had a more Moddable 3D Printing Aspect. Otherwise they seem to make damn good hardware.
(albeit a bit pricey, but the same can be said for Prusa and Lulzbot etc, quality/treating workers nice etc costs money). Until then I’ll probably just buy other equipment short of maybe one or two *if i get a pile of “burnable money” to be able to have one, and maybe donate it to a library makerspace or something.

Any idea on how they get foam all nice like that? I understand vacuum/pressure thermoforming for “clamshell” type packaging, and how they make those “molded pulp” type things, but short of the foam where you pick it away this all seems like dark magic to me; any ideas on how it is done?

Highend Unboxing experience for sure.
But I bet the Filament wouldnt have needed the foam and box. Kinda ruins the ecological idea of the cardboard spools 😅
