I sorta understand why the writers did it, tho. In some of the old episodes(eg, Chat Blanc), when Adrien finds out that Gabrielle is Hawk moth, he sorta just lets his father take control of him. If Gabrielle found out his son was the guy he'd been trying to kill for the past 9 months, he would've taken control over him and akumatized him. The writers made Chat noir fight Gabrielle before, and it didn't work out because Adrien was too much in his control(aka the rings). There was no way that Gabrielle could've fought Chat Noir without taking advantage of him, and there was no way that Adrien could fight his own father.

I hope they use it tho for the next season. Because I would love Ladybug to confide in Chat Noir. Having a relationship with Adrien is surely going to make her feel guilty so I would love her to tell Chat Noir and see it all unravel from there. It could make a great storyline. But knowing the writers, it won't happen 😭

Another thing is, when marinette found out hawk moths true identity, she probably would have told cat noir through a message on her yoyo or something (because she did that the last time she found out hawk moths identity), and because she doesn't know that cat noir is adrian, she would think the secret is safe (like adrian wouldn'tfind out), so how does any of that make sense.

It was like, really⁉️How could they exclude one of the most important characters in the series, I get that they didn't want him to find out the identity of his father, but, how satisfying it would have been to see them fight together as a team.
