I put the part number for the trim piece in the pinned comment.
I upgrade the trim on my G20 steering wheel to an M3 trim piece. This would work for the G30 5 series as well. The part number pinned works if you have heated steering, there is a regular version without available if you search online.

Remember to leave the battery disconnected for at least 20minutes to be sure the airbags have lost all charge when working on ANY of the dashboard. I like to wait 30 to be safe.
