100% in the right situation and with the right set up, at the right distance.

I think frontal is ethical only if you are 100% confident in the shot, but that's also true for broadside shots. If your practice and confidence in shooting than it's ethical. If you don't practice don't hunt

Any placed shot that quickly and humanely kills the animal, not wounds, but kills, is an ethical shot. Knowing your intended prey and their biological makeup is definitely a must. Personally, I hunt deer, but I wouldn't shoot a bear in the same area.

I am astonished how much YouTube has changed hunting. Thirty years ago a frontal shot wouldn’t have been taken or even discussed. Look at the rest of this comment section and see what I’m talking about. Call the wildlife department and ask them what they think about this. You can kill an elk shooting it in the chest but what are the recovery rates? YouTube was the worst thing that ever happened to elk hunting. Now you have a bunch a guys who shoot their bow one week a year and they go out and take frontal shots, 80 yard shots or shot they can get.

I killed one @ 17 yards frontal and lost one at 17 yards. The one lost walked up hill and left no blood then.

Not really man I’ve hunted for 37 years and I’ve let one Buck go outta 19 , it’s HARD to let a nice Bull go, so 👍🏻

Any shot angle is ethical with practice. I’m going to be carry heavier arrows with a single bevel broadhead for those oh s$@t shots to provide better penetration and over all a more humane kill
