If you're editing a video and you have a wide shot - either a still shot like this or a pan like this - you shouldn't cut two wide shots together. It looks strange, because the human eye is missing a zoom level. So use a close-up in between to keep your video varied. A little tip regardless of the content: Cutting two or three close-ups in a row before moving on to the next wide shot is absolutely okay and appropriate. Try it out with your own clips, because that's how you'll cut your appropriate close. #cutting #video #videoediting
