this exercise is called the glider. it is the third exercise in the askling protocol for hamstring rehabilitation. position yourself near a support rail or support plinth with legs slightly split apart. body supported on the injured leg with the knee bent to approximately 10 to 20°. the gliding motion is started by sliding the uninjured leg backwards far enough to wear you stopped before the injured leg starts to hurt. use your hands to slide you back into the upright position this exercise should be done every third day for three sets of four repetitions.
