Hey besties! 🌟 Today, I'm super excited to show you some amazing products I received from the incredible company, Apex Resin. 😍 While reading a controversial story from the subreddit "Am I the AH," I decided to dive into my first creation using their eco casting powder. 🎨

Unfortunately, it didn't go as planned and I had a little mishap! 😭 But hey, we all learn from our mistakes, right? I can't wait to give it another shot and see what I can create next! 🤩 Don't forget to leave your thoughts in the comments below! 💬

As long as she's keeping in mind dietary restrictions (such as allergies to soy or nuts, and gluten intolerance) it's fine. Best compromise would be to make vegetarian dishes for those who don't want vegan dishes (such as dishes needing dairy or eggs). She doesnt have to cook meat, but she should at least provide dishes outside of veganism🤷‍♀️

It's not a big deal. She isn't forcing anyone to adopt her lifestyle. It's one meal. You aren't going to starve if you don't like anything she makes.

Gotta have the opposite opinion here. Every family gathering, they made sure she had vegan options. Even if she just ordered something so there was a choice that would easily make everyone happy. If she wants her family to try and enjoy vegan living, she should make sure it's done in a way everyone is comfortable.

I don’t firmly sit on either side but I’m leaning toward NTA. I’m a vegetarian that gets really sick of people saying just eat meat this one meal or questioning my reasons and from what I know a lot of vegans and vegetarians have the same issue. To me it would just feel hypocritical to then force my choice on someone else even for just one meal. The sister can still show off vegan dishes and since I get not wanting to cook meat just make a rule that she is only preparing vegan dishes, if your dead set on eating meat you need to bring your own.

I’m on the fence with this one, but I think YTA. I can understand why some would be upset that she’s having the family reunion catered according to her dietary restrictions. However, I can’t imagine why somebody would be so opposed to having a single vegan meal. I’m not a vegan but I’m not incapable of eating food without meat in it.

As a vegan (not biased or anything just stating the truth) I think that them having one vegan meal isn’t the end of the world. In fact, a lot of people eat vegan food without realizing it. Like salads, dark chocolate, fig bars, even Oreos are vegan. I think the family will survive having one vegan meal it’s not that bad.

Nta if I recall the sister wanted to host like she argued for it and the point of a family reunion is the family not showing off veganism, its not the sisters event it’s the families If the sister doesn’t want to cook none vegan foods for safety reason that’s fair but she should order something or allow others to bring their own food like pot luck. If sister doesn’t go along with it don’t do vegan stuff for her in the future

Yes. As a vegan for 7 years, myself buying and then having to cook meat and use cow milk again is hard to do mentally. It sounds like it's not just a diet to her, so I feel tvat would be the same case for her. I understand that for some it is just a diet and I don't think they'd have a problem making other choices. But for this, it quite literally feels like you are asking her to contribute to the deaths of another living being. I don't hate my family members or people's choices, as I was there myself. That being said, my family knows that when I host, it will all be vegan and have grown to appreciate and enjoy my food.

Well at the next family reunion, after sister, there will be no vegan options and they will tell her to get over it.😂

Yes yta, non vegans still eat most of the stuff you eat on a vegan diet. The sister is a bit pushy but as a vegetarian who prefers not to cook meat if I host anything I don’t see the problem with excluding meat. People who eat meat still eat vegetables, I hope, so it’s not like she’s introducing them to something new. They’ll survive one vegan meal.

NTA, you made accommodations for her when you all hosted, she should as well. If she doesn't, then refuse to make any further accommodations for her regarding her choice of diet.

YTA, yall can eat vegan food for one day, it’s not that bad. And she’s not forcing her lifestyle onto you guys if it’s her catering. I’m non vegetarian and my entire family (household) is vegetarian. Due to religious reasons, they can’t cook meat in the house and neither can I in the house even though I’m non-vegetarian. Our compromise? I eat non-vegetarian and chicken and stuff whenever we go out, and at home I’ll always eat vegetarian. Plus, if someone else is offering you food, there’s not much room to be really picky about it.

Yes yta, if you don't like it don't go! It's her house her choice. You can't force meat on her at her house.

Let her make her food and if you're still hungry after that go out to eat.

Its her house, you can't demand her having food she doesn't approve of in her own home. Suck it up, you're going for the family not for the good. You might be surprised by the food, and in any case you won't starve, right?

NTA because her family would make vegan food for the sister. Why could she not do the same for her family? I get wanting to show your beliefs but you have to take into account the rest of the family. She is not the only person in the family.
