Lived in Oregon all my life. Portland city is no longer called Portland to me. It’s just Gotham city now

I lived in Bend most of my life and visited Portland frequently when I went to the coast. Portland always felt like a cozy city when I was younger, it had a very gorgeous architecture as well along with cool sites to see. After like 6 years when I was getting older you start to notice the more realistic side to the city and how much of a shit hole it had become. It’s honestly a sad site to see as to what the city’s become.

It used to be quirky but amusing. The past few years, it's just turned into a giant slum with miles-long gauntlets of trashy broken RV's (Marine Drive), and tent cities lining the highways as well as city streets. With all that going on, Oregon's focus-of-the-day seems to be giving gardeners/small farmers a hard time.
