This is how you make Rice Krispies Treats even better! 🤯 Make them like S'mores!
They’re perfect for summer bonfires or huddling around the campfire in the fall or winter.
You can replace 1 cup of Rice Krispies with a cup of crumbled graham crackers if you want, but I prefer them like this 😋
The key is to toast them over a 🔥 so you get the flavor from the browned marshmallows, and melted 🍫
👉 The full recipe is below, and be sure to let me know what you think if you give it a try! 🙌
INGREDIENTS
3 tbsp unsalted butter
10 oz marshmallows (usually 1 bag)
6 cups Rice Krispies Treats
1 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
1️⃣ Melt the butter in a large pot over medium-low heat, and pour in the marshmallows.
2️⃣ Continuously stir to mix in the butter and evenly melt the marshmallows.
3️⃣ Take the pot off the heat, pour in the Rice Krispies, and mix until the Rice Krispies are evenly coated.
4️⃣ Transfer to a large mixing bowl and set aside to cool for 6-8 minutes. Then add in the chocolate chips and mix them in. Be as gentle as possible so they don’t melt and smear.
5️⃣ Line a small baking pan with parchment paper and transfer the Rice Krispies mixture over. Use a small piece of parchment paper and a measuring cup to compress and shape the Rice Krispies.

7️⃣ When you’re ready to toast them, stick each piece with two wooden skewers (or a two-prong metal skewer) and rotate over the flame until the marshmallows start to brown evenly on all sides.
8️⃣ Serve an
