I get my foodie side from my dad 🧑🏻‍🍳 👩🏻‍🍳🍝 🤩 Maybe it’s not super traditional but trust me it tastes sooo good! I promise it won’t dissapoint, it’s a crowd please every time. I never get tired of it.

Pasta Sauce Recipe by Chef @raymcvinnie Ingredients

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 onions, finely minced
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 x 794g can of San Marzano Tomatoes (crushed) in juice
2 Tbs tomato paste
Basil Leaf
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Garnish with Basil and Vegan Parmesan

Directions

In a medium sized frying pan, heat the extra virgin olive oil over moderate heat and add the onions and garlic. Fry gently, without browning, for about 10 minutes until the onion is very soft.

Add the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste and mix well. Simmer for 20 minutes until the mixture is thick and jammy. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Add basil leaf

Cook pasta as directed with a lot of salt! Make sure it’s salted well.

Add pasta to sauce but make sure not to add too much water. Toss the sauce through the hot pasta and serve immediately sprinkled with vegan parm or nooch. Garnish with basil
