A Japanese samurai film, The Hidden Fortress, served as the inspiration for Star Wars. The only way they bcould retain the samurai sword fights from that movie in Star Wars was to come up some futuristic version of a sword.

I would like to know why he rececreated Leni RiefenstahlsTriumpf of the Will in the end scene of the first Star Wars movie. It makes the Rebellion into the Nazis and Luke into Hitler.
