As an australian we don’t see cars like this over here but I surely do like this one. And such low mileage!
A gem.

Pontiacs used to be a Prestige car. they were highly respected and of course in the 60s they became also kind of a luxury performance car. I love the 1960 two doors with the 389 V8.

This is Unrelated to your story and I will keep it short. My Grandfather had a 41 Pontiac and in mid 44 after returning home from the WW2 in Europe bought one with front end damage. He fixed it up and I took his wife to deliver both his daughters at the hospital. One in 44 and the next one in the beginning of 1945! It was one of his top 5 of 50 cars he had from 1931 to 1982. He and his wife both adored it. Thanks again for sharing this with me and my family. Tell him thanks for sharing this with us! I will again say thank you for sharing your find with me and my Mother who is the younger one of the two daughters. Great day

Pontiac from this era was a great platform and they are not a Cadillac but for middle class America was a awesome riding smooth running and even choking for air ran better than most anyway. God bless and enjoy your find I would be honored to have that.

I had a beauty of a '73, about 9,000 mi when I bought it.
Valencia Gold, white top, white interior. 400, 400, automatic. Every time I took it out, I has to explain it 3 or 4 times. Thing would just fly.

I've seen this car elsewhere and am very impressed.
This past august I just sold dad's 1975 Olds 442 with a 455 and had 12,000 original miles always garaged in this same condition.

First car I drove was a 1964 Pontiac Tempest. I was fifteen and parents were out of town. I'll never forget it.
