thanks for sharing, I'll add it to my "do not do!" tesla Y list(along with opening rear hatch in garage for first time). They really should point these potential hazards out. Shouldn't be able to happen.

That does suck, but hear me out. I have one of those sun shades with an opaque liner to block sunlight on my Model 3. I can't even see the glass roof from inside the car with this installed. I know it won't fix your problem, but it also won't be a reminder every time you sit in the car. Maybe something like that can get you by for the next few weeks or months until Tesla can replace it.

I didn’t know that you could remove the headrest. So sorry the glass broke. The big thing is the wait time to get the glass installed from Tesla. If you can delay your trip, that would better.
