Salvation / eternal life is a free gift from God by the life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus our Savior.
Some may say that you cannot lose your salvation, but that's not what the word of God says.
Many people seek teachers with itching ears, which means that they look for leaders that will tell them what they want to hear to ease their conscience.
What does the Scriptures say about how we are to live?
The Apostle Paul asks the question: what, shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid, how shall we that are dead to sin live any longer therein.
"And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Amen. Hallelujah! I leave such churches. I believe I am responsible for my sins and it is my duty to examine my soul and heart and ask Jesus to forgive my sins. I do it every night through prayer to my Lord Jesus.

He is 100% correct. Only TRUE repentance and receiving forgiveness in following Christ. You can't give God lip service because He examines your heart and know your thoughts before you think them, scriptures read.. True repentance means turning from your sinful lifestyle...changing your course in life.

Be careful not to believe in a works based salvation which is taught from many people these days. Yes we are not to practice sin, but if we do sin we have an advocate with the Father. Romans 4:4–5: “Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor, but as what is due. But to the one who does not work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness.”

If you truly BELIEVE in Jesus, you would obey Him! We must deny ourself, pick up our cross, and follow Him daily.
But don't fear beloved, it's GOD who will work in you to change you if you yield to Him! HE will sanctify you. HE will free you from sin. HE is faithful! Praise Jesus! Don't think you have to be holy on your own strength, GOD WILL MAKE YOU HOLY if you truly surrender your heart and life to Him. He is a good God.
