Qavah means to wait actively with anticipation, to bind together (perhaps by twisting), i.e. collect; (figuratively) to expect:--gather (together), look, patiently, tarry, wait (for, on, upon).. The most familiar passage in scripture where we see qavah is Isaiah 40.31: “Those who qavah upon the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. waiting for thee Lord putting other things off for God while most put God off for other things. is how we become bound to our Rock (deut. 32.31). with the 4 carpenters; law prophets, gospel and epistles is what we should use to bind ourselves to thee Truth. opposed to the 4 dynasties of the wicked; education, economics, politics and religion that binds to their rock. (zech. 1.17-21, rev. 2.9, rev. 3.9). Psalms 27.14 - Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalms 33.20 - Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. Psalms 37.7 - Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Psalms 52.9 - I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints. Psalms 62.5 - My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. Psalms 130.5 -I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. Isaiah 30.18 - And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. Isaiah 33.2 - O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble. Lamentations 3.25 - The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. Micah 7.7 - Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Habakkuk 2.3 - For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. James 5.7 - Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. all will be held accountable. some are given a little, some a lot. if you do nothing with what you do have then even that that you have will be taken away (matt 13.12, luke 12.48).... don't be found naked (2 cor. 5.3, rev. 16.15) ... lazy people might make it into heaven but they will be naked. don't eat from the wrong tree, it makes you ugly. (amos 8.11) the world is being flooded with lies, everyday it becomes harder to find Truth. hold on tight to our most precious gift, Jesus Christ. the worthy/"church" is being led into confusion where most will become the whore (zech. 5.5+, rev. 18.7).... it is written trust no one (ps. 118.8, micha 7.5) and only those who know and love thee Truth will remain faithful. (2 thess. 2.10) study to show thyself approved. (2 tim. 2.15)
