Great idea of you need to use the next size up for a large eye fitting, it's like putting two wires in. Some of the cheap fittings have no holding power, so this idea ( if you can fit it) creates a better situation.

In this situation I recommend you use the red colored crimp .

Correct electrical wire gauge to the correct wire terminal end is best ! Crimp with quality tools . There is Garbage Freight and Knipex quality tools in the market along with terminal ends and electrical wire .

To the morons who say in the comments saying "use the correct wire size" I KNOW TO KNOW THE RIGHT SIZE CONNECTOR FOR THE RIGHT WIRE GUAGE... I even clearly state it in the video. No one needs your 2 cents. We all get it you're bored and never actually wired anything ever but you know the "books" stop being computer keyboard know it all's.

If I were to do this , I would twist the end with some lineman pliers before putting the terminal on to crimp....

I'd be concerned about the end of the loop arcing back to the wire if it were just folded around like that - especially in higher voltage lines.

I do the same thing. Usually the conductor is 5 skinny little strands, so it'll pull right off otherwise. I do find with good wire they fit much better.

I know this an older video but are you redoing the connection for opt7 rgb lights? Got some and the connection to my battery post is shitty. Lmao

If you have to fold the wire you’re doing it wrong. Wrong side connector
