I think it is more than just the camera work. The dance was low energy. They are trying to live up to the title, Group of the Year - Billboard. They did not look like group of the year. I think this was the biggest flaw in this performance.
last issue, GMA had like what, 10 people on the left and 10 on the right holding signs and supporting them. if that is all the fans they could get, then what is this Group of the Year noise. they needed to fill that studio with screaming fans, light sticks, like its a concert.
but they didn't, and AESPA didn't either

I think the reason is the choreo was made with backup dancers and they don't have time to practice for another choreo without the backup dancers because of their tight schedule. And the cameraman keep zooming out (the moment when other girls waiting for their turn), so it's really looked unsynchronize

U can just compare it to lesserafims performance on the show and see that maybe aespa was just having a bad day. One bad performance doesn’t mean they are bad they just didn’t do well in one place one time
