I left the LDS Church over 20 plus years ago.
Mormon Women were basically taught to be "barefoot and pregnant " and to rely / submit unto their husband's mythical priesthood authority.
Years later after a time of agnosticism I became an Evangelical Christian and discovered what True submission of a wife to her husband really meant.
Most women want / desire a man who is a leader in their household.
They want a guy who isn't a wimp who will provide, protect, respect, and Love them Unconditionally. He will take charge in leading his family by example with the wanted help / support and contribution from his wife
However that leadership is Not a license for men to manipulate over women.
We both need each other's input in.making decisions in our families.
women's ideas and input just as important as men's.
Women have certain traits that we men do not. They have this intuitive feeling that is very perceptive and can help in many different situations.
Mom's also have a keen sense of situational awareness like they have eyes in the back of their heads to track the children while men are usually clueless about those matters.
Most men do not have that nurturing gift especially in rearing children.
Women are the calm to the men emotionally that helps balance the relationship.
Yes there Are Certain Women who are wired to be leaders in the professional workforce CEO's CFO's Dr's Lawyers Law Enforcement Educators etc and that spirit shoukd Not be quenched in the name of patriarchy.
As well as women who desire to be full time moms and homemakers soccer Moms etc

Biblically speaking, men and women are equals in Christ!(Galatians 3:28)
