So true! If it wasn’t for my husband’s voice of reason, I would’ve probably thrown away my big project a long time ago! I get so frustrated with myself for wanting to pitch out my work when it isn’t perfect. I needed to hear this message today, because I had a minor glitch with my work that is the culmination of years of study, and I wanted to quit and throw it all away. Thank God for this encouragement to go on!

I think I might have adhd. I have a masters degree and bachelors degree. I got 90% in all of my exams but only got 40% in my project because of procrastination. I completed my project in 5 days before deadline day but also didn't start until 5 days before deadline day...

Gold advise. Would like to complement by saying I typically experience an intense need to ditch any given project away very quickly, specially when there's nothing left to learn from it or becomes a source of social decay among its members. I've learnt it is best to walk away only when you find another activity or project with the potential of bi-directionally complement or enhance the initial project, I see it almost as an existential duty to promote growth.
