I never really thought of it, but yeah, i enjoy both bands very much. I also thought the strokes had been around much longer than 98. That older sound of theirs really puts you in a place.

Really good original song !! I've been an MCR fan for 8+ years and only just discovered the strokes a few weeks ago, I thought someeee of their crazy energetic guitar work can sound somewhat similar. I suppose everyone in the comments saying MCR isn't that similar because of the difference between Gerard and Julian's vocals (they really couldn't be more different!)

MCR was my favorite band in high school. The strokes are my favorite band as an adult. I think a collab would be great. Although the strokes were definitely the cool kids in high school and MCR were definitely the nerds. Iβm not sure how theyβd actually get along.

honestly i think an indie rock album produced a la mcr would be amazing but there's not much out there like that that i've found so good on you for doing something in that lane. I don't know if you've ever heard of The Brobecks but they're kinda the closest thing to an MCR/Strokes aesthetic that i've found although they're a bit more The Killers than The Strokes tbh. idk maybe check them out if you're interested. Great work!

Got to be honest Matty other than the say 3/4 most well known MCR songs I don't listen to them yet the strokes are probably my favourite band ever and if you include solo stuff/Voidz then Julian is probably my favourite songwriter of the 21st century.
