In Argentina we used to have a brand of dried pasta that would sell that sort of noodle. It had a really nice chew and it was my go-to as a spatzle substitute in goulash.

That's why you order several of them, James, and make it a fun group activity with your guests. 😅
You could have the rest of the meal already all prepped and ready to go, so you'd just spend a short while boiling their pasta, heating things up, and putting it all together after your guests and you are done rolling your pasta.
That would actually be a nice video; have the normals visit one of the chefs (James please!), and then show how you can have most of your dinner prepped, so you don't spend too long in the kitchen, but also explore ways you can involve your guests in the cooking

Just sat down to eat my dinner and as usual o brought up y’all’s channel to watch videos as I eat and fall asleep, and I’m always SO EXCITED when there’s a new review video! I just realized this one was from a month ago lol, but lately I’ve been rewatching any of y’all’s videos with “global” or “around the world” in the title lol. Looks like I’m gonna be going back to watching gadge videos for a while now (again) lol!
Side note… how does it feel knowing that people (at least me lol) fall asleep listening to y’all? Like, that y’all are just so comforting and entertaining to watch, that people choose to have y’all’s voice be the last thing they hear as they drift off to dreamland?

I think those pasta rods are a great thing for people like me who are fairly new to making pasta and have spare time to boot. Without equipment I'm limited to papperdella or lasagna sheets and I'm not confident enough to serve my pasta to others yet. But they would be a wonderful present to receive
