A young Consoler Eliya prayed and told God that if He helped her out of an abusive situation and attend school, she would dedicate her life to helping young girls dealing with the same problem. Consoler was able to overcome the odds by attending school, and then grew up to found New Hope for Girls - Tanzania. By legally adopting young girls out of physically and sexually abusive situations and by teaching them practical life skills and trades, Consoler is helping young Tanzanian women realize their worth in a society that told them otherwise.
