That's what I like about pixel phones. I don't have to hit select like this guy said. All you have to do is minimize the window like he showed first, and then press and hold over the text you want to copy and it works every time for me. My very first smartphone was a pixel 2 which allowed me to do this, then I got a Motorola not realizing that you could not do this on Motorola's which sucked. Now I'm back to a newer pixel 8 and love this capability, as I copy and paste everyday I do a lot of research and for my work it really sucks if you can't copy text. A copy, long numbers, serial numbers. Anything at all. My sister owned pixel phones for years, and I just told her about that recently and she didn't even know, which was surprising to me. I find it to be one of the most useful features on Pixel phones. I wouldn't waste my money on a phone that doesn't allow you to do this.

I think this is a Pixel-specific feature (at least I don't have it on my Samsung S22 Ultra)
