I feel for the young women /girls today who are lesbian or bi, or even a "tomboy" being told they're trans. It's misogynistic and we need to evaluate why society is so eager to convince young women that they should transition. As a girl, I hated the idea of puberty, and my body and being bi, and i spent decades hating my female body because of what society told women how to be and act. I wished that I had been male, and I suspect that's what its going on with so many of these young women who feel they're male...they want to escape their femaleness, not necessarily be "male." It makes me furious.

My heart breaks for any detransitoner this is a tragic awful thing to happen to anyone. I do think it too much of a complex situation to blame on one person. Many who transition have complex backgrounds of untreated childhood trauma, autism and the black and white obsessional thinking/ cycle of hyperfocusing that can accmpany it. In tavistock children refered over past 20 yrs had significantly higher rates of being in the foster care system an sexual abuse etc. Homephobia both internalised an external has played a massive part in this making it easier to come out as trans than gay to family and local community etc. Its too much to just blame a famous trans person. If children were treasured not abused an in a bad place to begin with. If society hadnt made gay people feel ashamed an worthless if the medics had provided quality assessments/therapy/gatekeeping etc.

OMG you sound hilarious af tbh and I have been out as trans for 6 years now and I still have yet to know what "trans ideology" is, I'm guessing that "trans ideology" is people just simply existing and people having a huge problem with it just coping and seething.

I’m a lesbian and I agree.
I think the trans thing is a means of self-harm. Except unlike cvtting oneself, going trans is socially celebrated.
